How can I create multiple “profiles” for the embedded search results so I can use the same dataset for both summary based (results list only) and also a stand-alone search with the search input field included?

Simply create a snapshot of your embedded search configuration and name it accordingly based on it’s intended purpose and use that install script for that use case.

For example, you can have one snapshot that includes the search input field and another snapshot that has that featured disabled. Whenever you generate the install script for a tool, it uses the currently active profile as the settings template. Therefore, you can have multiple active “profiles” for the same dataset by using the snapshot feature to create a template for whatever use-case you need.

Simply apply the saved snapshot to the default profile and generate the install script for that setup. Then switch to your other saved profile (snapshot) and then generate the install script for that setup.

We do not delete generated scripts specifically so that you can switch back and forth between snapshots (profiles) at any time and use those scripts on different areas of your site.
