Why do I need to reinstall the tool script on my site if I make a change to the appearance or settings for the specific tool?

The Shop Bot Pro AI tools are installed on your site using standard JS script files and are “skinned” using standard CSS rules. Since both JS and CSS are, by default, cached by the user’s browser, you need to install a different named JS script to ‘force’ the user’s browser to re-download the new content settings and CSS.

Furthermore, we use the Amazon Cloudfront CDN service for the storage and access requests for the Shop Bot Pro JS and CSS tool files. A CDN service provides cached copies of the files in different server centers all around the world to ensure that the site user is served the most efficient resources based on their location. Generating and installing a new install script with a unique file name for the tool prevents a user from loading a previously cached CDN version of your old setup.
